MIS Offering Gift Certificates For Holiday Season

BROOKLYN, Dec. 15, 2010: A holiday shopping strategy is not complete without a plan for that hard-to-shop for race fan.

With that said, Michigan International Speedway is offering gift certificates just in time for the holidays.

With the lowest prices of the season still available for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races in 2011, now is a great opportunity to purchase gift certificates for family and friends in $25 increments. Gift certificates can be used for tickets, camping, pit passes or hospitality packages for the June or August race weekends.

“Gift certificates are a great idea for people who are struggling to find that perfect gift for someone,” speedway President Roger Curtis said. “A $25 gift certificate makes a perfect stocking stuffer for the holidays.”

Gift certificates must be redeemed in advance of race week. MIS accepts cash, checks and most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. They can be purchased online at www.MISpeedway.com, by calling 800-354-1010, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week or by stopping at the MIS ticket office Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
