DELAWARE, Nov. 11, 2010: JEGS Mail Order, a worldwide leader in the high performance parts business, was recognized by the Greater Linden Development Corporation with its "Beautiful Business Award -- Large Business Category" Tuesday night during the seventh annual Linden Awards and Gratitude Celebration in downtown Columbus, Ohio.
JEGS was honored for its "continued demonstration of community pride and commitment" and for "setting a standard that makes Linden proud," according to Donna J. Hicho, executive director of the non-profit organization.
"It's really special that the Greater Linden Development group reached out to us like this and honored our business and our 350-plus associates with this award," said JEGS Vice President John Coughlin, one of four brothers that owns and operates the 50-year-old business. "We're very proud of our community and cognizant of always putting our best foot forward.
"We're from here, born and raised, and there have been Coughlins in this area going back generations. It's part of who we are and we've always strived to be the best in everything we do. That thought extends to everyone that works here at JEGS and their families as well. This award will be shared by us all, and we're very grateful.
"Special thanks to Don Deafenbaugh, Craig Michaels, and the entire staff at JEGS North for their exceptional effort in this endeavor."
