Woodbridge, November 9, 2010: AIM Autosport is searching for qualified drivers for its Daytona Prototype sports car. Driver positions are available for the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and the balance of the 2011 season. AIM anticipates making a driver announcement by the end of the year.

In the racing community, AIM Autosport is well respected for its ability to compete with, and frequently place ahead of, top teams with far greater budgets. This season, AIM claimed seven top-five finishes from 11 races and two-thirds of the way through the season, its drivers were just seven points shy of the top spot, trailing only the season’s dominant pairing of Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas.

“In the four short years that we have been racing Daytona Prototypes, we have proven ourselves to be among the strongest teams in the field,” said team principal, Ian Willis. “We are very proud of our successes to date and this is a great opportunity for sponsored drivers wishing to join a front-runnning team.”

Motivated drivers interested in joining AIM Autosport’s sports car program may contact team principal, Ian Willis.
