The Edge: GRAND-AM Road Racing Goes Behind The Scenes On HD Theater

DAYTONA BEACH, Oct. 26, 2010: HD Theater, Discovery Communication's premiere high definition network, will present a five-part series entitled THE EDGE: GRAND-AM ROAD RACING, which debuts on Sunday, Oct. 31 at Noon ET. Produced by the Emmy Award-winning NASCAR Media Group, the docu-drama will continue every Sunday throughout November and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the excitement of the Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16.

"We are excited because THE EDGE: GRAND-AM ROAD RACING will expose the GRAND-AM style of road racing to an expanded audience of potential fans," said Kevin Hindson, GRAND-AM Vice President of Marketing and Communications. The opening episode focuses on the 2010 Rolex 24 At Daytona, with the subsequent episodes following the championship battle throughout the season. Mixing action from each race with exclusive interviews and footage from the pits, paddock and race shops, THE EDGE: GRAND-AM ROAD RACING goes beyond traditional race coverage to showcase the personalities, controversy and action that is unique to GRAND-AM Road Racing.
