Thursday, September 23—4:00 p.m.– 10: p.m.—Tire and fuel sales will close at 7:00 p.m. Weekend Pit Passes AvailablE! Get unlimited garage access throughout the weekend—without having to wait for gate to open on Friday or Saturday. (Sorry, no refunds will be given on prepaid passes due to a rainout; however, they are transferable to the rescheduled date.) Overnight camping is encouraged and is FREE!

Thunderhill Raceway Garage/Pit Area

Policies & Procedures

Wristband Required! Anyone without a wristband will be required to leave the Thunderhill Raceway (THR) garage/pit area and the race vehicle they are affiliated with will be subject to the driver being penalized to the rear of the field! Be responsible – check your crews, families and fans!

Rainout Policy – In case of a rainout, any touring series that is on the THR schedule for a racing event will be rescheduled to the next possible THR scheduled race date, as agreed upon between THR and the Touring Series Director. Thunderhill Raceway reserves the right to change the rainout policy, which could include a Sunday event or a date being added, depending on future weather conditions and the type of event.

Tow Vehicles/Haulers cannot be parked after 9:00 p.m. on Friday or before 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, unless special arrangements have been made by calling Loree at 512-576-4460, H.E. at 512-844-3584 or Mary Ann at 512-844-3582. Only one Tow Vehicle/Hauler is allowed per race vehicle—must display assigned parking permit upon arriving.

ATVs—Our insurance regulations stipulate that only licensed drivers (or individuals authorized by Thunderhill Raceway officials) are allowed to operate convenience vehicles at Thunderhill Raceway (THR). All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) and golf carts must display a THR sticker at all times (a one-time pass or a $35 season pass). All ATVs and golf carts must yield to all pedestrians at all times. On race day, the only ATVs or golf carts that will be allowed on the concrete area at the top of the grandstands will be convenience vehicles with elderly or handicapped passengers or Thunderhill Raceway staff and officials. The operation of ATVs and golf carts will not be allowed any later than one hour after track lights have been turned out. Failure to abide by these rules and regulations may result in a fine of up to $100 and the loss of this privilege.

Speeding in garage/pit area will not be tolerated . . . SAFETY FIRST!

Children under 12 years old must be within arm’s reach of an ADULT at all times!

Dogs must be within arm’s reach of an ADULT at all times – on a leash! We may ask that barking dogs be removed from the premises.

NO Consumpion of Alcohol is allowed in the garage/pit area until all RACING has been completed! And we believe in a drug-free environment! Drivers can be randomly selected to be drug tested at anytime!

On RACE DAY, a change of a THR driver must be approved by Director of Scoring.

IF THESE PROCEDURES ARE NOT FOLLOWED, DRIVERS AND RACE TEAMS MAY BE PENALIZED!

Please help us keep your garage/pit area clean and neat – trash bags available in the garage/tech area.
