RACING BUSINESS (CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA.) - Rowdy partners with Dover International Speedway and Pocono Raceway to launch suite of NASCAR-themed games

NASCAR fans have often been overlooked and underappreciated by the online game community… until now. Rowdy has teamed up with Dover International Speedway and Pocono Raceway to introduce the first three games in a suite of NASCAR-themed games available exclusively on Rowdy.com. In each of the games, the core challenge was to create a simple, fun and exciting game that engaged the every day race fan but was challenging enough not to be mastered too quickly.
“There is no game in the industry that can be called a fan favorite for the NASCAR audience,” said Jerry Miraglia, president of Labrador Mobile. “Many games are based on statistics and performance and most leave the casual fan out in the cold. They lack the passion, the fire, and most importantly, the personality of the sport. The new Rowdy suite of games fill this void.”
Instead of just another driving game, the tandem has launched three diverse games with different fans in mind. The games are designed to be fun for race fans of all ages — not just kids. Monster Mile Match is a classic matching game that tests your recall while playfully combining important icons from the track. Pocono Shuffle is an addictive combination of Tetris and puzzle solving that should reduce workplace productivity. And Rowdy’s Driver Zone is a weekly pick’em game that challenges the fan to select which of three drivers in seven uniquely themed groups will run the best each weekend. Kasey Kahne may be great looking but will he finish ahead of fellow bachelors Carl Edwards and Denny Hamlin at Daytona? Kevin Harvick may be qualify well, but is he the best Hell Raiser, or will Robby Gordon or Kurt Busch out run him this weekend? Each week the zones change so the driver groupings are always fun and surprising.
To make the games even more fun, a variety of prizes are up for grabs. Over $3,000 in cash will be awarded to the fans that score the best in the first nine week segment of Rowdy’s Driver Zone.
A trivia game will be debuted in early March as the fourth game in the suite. The goal is to create at least 3 additional games in 2008 — each designed to engage NASCAR fans of all ages.
