SPECIAL EVENT (INDIANAPOLIS, IN.) - Chevrolet, IMS To Announce 2008 Indy 500 Pace Cars, Driver

Known for their charismatic designs and superior performance, the pack-leading Pace Cars share a special place in Indianapolis 500 lore. History will be made at the 2008 Indianapolis 500 when a pair of distinctive, yet highly differentiated Chevrolet models will serve as the Official Pace Cars.

WHAT: Join Indianapolis Motor Speedway President and COO Joie Chitwood and Chevrolet General Manager Ed Peper as they announce the 2008 Indianapolis 500 Pace Cars and Pace Car driver before the opening of the Indianapolis Auto Show to the public. Indiana Lt. Governor Becky Skillman also will speak.

WHEN: 10 a.m. (ET), Thursday, Dec. 27

WHERE: Indianapolis Auto Show at the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome; 100 S. Capitol Ave., Indianapolis. Announcement will take place in the Chevrolet display area of the Indianapolis Auto Show.
