USAC (PLYMOUTH) - PEDREGON TO RACE WEDNESDAY
Cruz Pedregon of Torrance, Calif. a 3-time U.S. Nationals Funny Car Champion and the first driver to reach 310 mph in a Funny Car, is schedule to compete in Wednesday night's USAC regional racing program at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway. Pedregon will compete in the regional midget portion of the "Wednesday Night Thunder" tripleheader which also features Kenyon and Indiana Ford Focus midget racing. Three 30-lap features are on tap at the 3/8-mile paved oval. Travis Young, Robby Parish and Kyle Hamilton will try to protect their respective series point leads at Plymouth.
