USAC (SPEEDWAY, IN) - ROB KLEPPER JOINS USAC STAFF
Rob Klepper, 34, of Brownsburg, Ind., who has served as the public address announcer for many USAC racing events in recent years, has been appointed to a multi-task capacity position with the United States Auto Club and is now a full-time member of the staff at USAC headquarters in Speedway, Ind. Duties will include assistance with marketing, sales, publicity and other racing-related items in addition to his continuance as a voice of USAC and as host of USAC's weekly racing show on RaceFanRadio.com and pit reporter for the Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour programming which encompasses a half-dozen USAC races in 2007. A Caruthers, Calif. native, Rob has been involved in the sport since 1996 when he served as crew chief for his brother Clay, who was USAC's Most Improved Western States Midget driver in 1998 and Most Improved National Midget driver in 1999. His announcing career debut came in 2002 at Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif.
