McClenathan Looks For Top Fuel Glory at Infineon Raceway

SONOMA, Calif. - With 28 Top Fuel victories, Cory
McClenathan is no stranger to the winner's circle, but the popular
driver has faced an eight-year drought when it comes to victories at
Infineon Raceway.

Cory Mac, as he's simply known, will look to end that drought during the
18th annual FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals, presented by Supercuts, at
Infineon Raceway, July 29-31.

As a teenager, McClenathan first raced Volkswagen-powered drag cars
before quickly graduating to a successful career in Top Alcohol
Dragsters. He made the move to Top Fuel in 1991 and campaigned his own
team until 1993 before driving for a variety of teams, including one
owned by NFL coach and NASCAR team owner Joe Gibbs.

He has partnered with the Carrier Boyz Racing and FRAM for the 2005
season in pursuit of a NHRA POWERade Series Top Fuel championship.

"The relationship between FRAM, Honeywell and Carrier Boyz Racing is
awesome," said McClenathan. "I think the FRAM AirHog Dragster has the
potential to put FRAM in the winner's circle and for us (Carrier Boyz
Racing) to contend for a Top Fuel championship."

McClenathan will face stiff competition during the FRAM Autolite NHRA
Nationals at Infineon Raceway. Four-time Infineon Raceway winner Doug
Kalitta looks to continue his domination of the lightning-quick Sonoma
quarter-mile, as Top Fuel aces Tony Schumacher, Larry Dixon and Brandon
Bernstein also look for the win light.

Competition will also be fierce in three other professional classes:
Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. Six of the eight
professional class records were shattered in 2004, with John Force
resetting the Funny Car speed record by more than three miles per hour
at 322.42.

"We absolutely love racing here," said Greg Anderson, who claimed his
first Infineon Raceway victory in 2004 for Pro Stock and reset the track
speed and elapsed-time records. "The track we've raced on in Sonoma is
all we could have hoped for and fans are going to see a lot of close
side-by-side racing."
