Tony Pedregon Race Day Wrap Up
 
MORRISON, Colo. (July 17, 2005) ­ Tony Pedregon, driver of the Q Racing
Nitro Funny Car, took a chance on the starting line in his first round match
with Del Worsham during today¹s Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere
Speedway.

But Pedregon red lit and watched as Worsham¹s 5.227-second elapsed time at
292.52 mph advanced him to the next round.

³Sometimes you need to be aggressive out there,² said Pedregon, who went red
by a mere .003 of a second. ³It was a little too much though. We made a
couple of good runs this weekend and I really thought we had a good set up
for today. 

³As a team, we adapted well to the conditions in a short period of time,²
Pedregon continued. ³That¹s a testament to this team. We should be ready for
Seattle where we get back to sea level.²
