NHRA Southeast Division Summit Racing Series Finals -FINAL Results from Atlanta Dragway

Georgia drivers Richardson and King California Dreamin' after Summit Finals wins at Atlanta Dragway
COMMERCE, Ga. - The NHRA Summit Racing Series Southeast Division Finals concluded today at Atlanta Dragway with champions being crowned in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Motorcycle eliminator categories. With the conclusion of this event, the roster for the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals, Nov. 11-14, at Pomona Raceway in Pomona Calif. is now set. 
By virtue of their victories at this weekend's event, Margie Richardson, Kelly King, Leon Robertson and Michael Fulks are now qualified to compete in the national championship finals in November.
	In Super Pro, Richardson of Cairo, Ga., earned a win for the Albany, Ga., based U.S. 19 Dragway team behind the wheel of her Chevy II.  In the final, Richardson defeated U.S. 19 teammate Jack Ivey Sr., of Albany, Ga. 
Taking home the win in Pro for Montgomery Motorsports Park, was Kelly King of Stockbridge, Ga. King defeated Mobile Dragway's William Piece of Grand Bay, Ala., in the final round.
For the second time in three years, Music City Raceway's Leon Robertson of Nashville, Tenn., won the Sportsman title. In the final, the always tough Robertson, eliminated Montgomery Motorsports Park racer Jacob Rutledge of Braselton, Ga. In 2002, Robertson won the Southeast Division title, and then went on to the Finals at Pomona Raceway where he earned a runner-up finish to Jerry Hefler for the Summit Racing Series national title. 
In Motorcycle, Loxahatchee, Fla., racer Michael Fulks captured a win for Team Moroso Motorsports Park when he defeated Music City Raceway's Leonard Adams of Madison, Tenn. 
Despite being unable to capture their third team championship in a row, the team from Music City Raceway still had plenty to celebrate, with a win by Robertson and runner-up by Adams. The Nashville-based team's enthusiasm earned them the Team Spirit title. 
The coveted team championship was awarded to the team from Montgomery Motorsports Park. The Montgomery, Ala., team earned 57 points throughout the course of the day, to edge out 17 other Southeast Division teams for the title. Finishing in the No. 2 spot was team U.S. 19 Dragway who earned a total of 47 points, while the home team from Atlanta Dragway finished fifth with 39 points
