MOPAR'S HUBINETTE LOOKS FOR THIRD STRAIGHT FORMULA D WIN

July 10, 2004
Center Line, Mich. - As Mopar's Samuel Hubinette and the Lateral G Racing
team head into the wine country of Northern California, they'll be hoping to be
able to indulge in the spoils of victory in the Formula Drift event at Infineon
Raceway. Hubinette looks to drive the Mopar Viper Competition Coupe to his
third straight victory this weekend in the inaugural Formula D Series season.
The team knows it won't be an easy feat, as the competition has grown to more
than 40 of the best drifting teams in the country.

Hubinette leads the Formula D Series points chase into the Infineon Raceway
event. The "Crazy Swede" will drive to maintain that lead with solid runs at
Sonoma this weekend. Hubinette's thoughts on the Infineon Speedway event and the
team's season thus far follow below.

Samuel Hubinette, driver of the Mopar Viper Competition Coupe for Lateral G
Racing, on the Formula D event at Infineon Raceway …
"I'm always excited to get back to the race track, but we're really looking
forward to competing at Infineon Raceway. It is such a prestigious venue, and
to compete at such a first-class facility is very exciting. We're going to make
every effort to put on a good show for the fans, and I'm really looking
forward to putting the Mopar Viper Competition Coupe through its paces. The
racetrack is where I feel most at home, and the Lateral G Racing team is looking
forward to getting back to business."

Hubinette on what the fans can expect this weekend at Infineon Raceway …
"This weekend I think that the fans will get to see higher speed drifting.
This venue will provide us with more corners, which will allow for more
execution for tandem drifting. The battles should be outstanding at Infineon, as more
corners will provide more opportunity for action, especially in tandem
drifting. I think this could end up being the best show for the fans we've put on
yet."

Hubinette on the team's focus as they enter the third round of competition …
"This weekend our goal is to finish on the podium. We're confident that we
have a very good chance to do this. We're always aiming for the win, but with
the competition growing to over 40 teams, I know that it will be tough to earn a
third straight win. Leading the points into the event boosts our confidence,
and we're focused on maintaining that lead. I'm confident we'll be in
contention all weekend, but we're going to have to stay on top of our game in order to
pull off the third win."
