BRAD MCCLELLAND WINS TRAIL MOTORS 358/360 SPRINT CAR OPEN CHALLENGE RACE AT SSP NEWBERRYTOWN
NEWBERRYTOWN, PA (May 27, 2004) – Brad McClelland picked up the Trail Motors 358/360 Sprint Car Open Challenge event over 43 other strong competitors at the Susquehanna Speedway Park on Thursday evening. Meanwhile, Tom Johns picked up his third feature win and second in a row in the Xtreme Enduro Stock Car Feature winner, while Ronnie Dunstan won the Central PA Legends Cars main event. Keith Prutzman picked up $100 for posting the fasted lap among three challengers in the Rock It Pizza School Bus Challenge. Prutzmn’s lap of 43.7 second lap defeated Dan Dietrech, Mike Lehman and Trail Motors owner Bruce Walbert. The next race will be Thursday Night, June as SSP as the 410 Sprint Cars return along with the Xtreme Enduro Stock Cars and the Spectacular One-on-One Street Car Drags. Gates open in the pit area at 4:00 p.m. with the grandstand gates opening at 5:00 p.m. Warmups begin at 6:30 p.m. with racing action beginning at 7:30 p.m. Race fans can expect a fast paced 2 ½ hour program each and every night (as one local reporter has been quoted “Done by 10.”). Grandstand ticket prices are Adults (18 & older) $10.00; Teens (13-17) $6.00; Children (6-12) $2.00; and Children (5 & under) are free. Pit pass prices have been reduced to $20.00 with a reduced price of $18.00 for all track license holders. A track license is $25.00 for the year.
