IHRA Update: ACDelco Will Once Again Provide "Fast Fuel" to
The IHRA
Grand Blanc, Mich., March 22, 2004 - For the third consecutive year, ACDelco will look to make the procedure of registration and parking for an IHRA national event a little more enjoyable for all involved through their Fast Fuel Program. Throughout the morning, the ACDelco Fast Fuel Cart will work its way through the line awaiting access to the track as well as the pit area, providing coffee and donuts, offering those who participate a break from their busy day.
"Just as ACDelco makes parts for all makes and models of automobiles, our ACDelco Fast Fuel program is intended for all racers in all classes," said Scott Mackie, General Manager for ACDelco. "We have gotten to know many of these competitors through our sponsorship of the Richmond and Toronto races, as well as our support of Harold Martin. Not only are they dedicated to the success of our sport, putting in long hours just to get to the track, but many are also loyal ACDelco customers. We see our sponsorship of the ACDelco Fast Fuel program as a way to show our appreciation for their tremendous efforts."
"ACDelco has consistently provided IHRA and our racers with overwhelming support," said IHRA President Bill Bader. "In addition to their sponsorship at two national events and Pro Modified driver Harold Martin, this unique program is a pleasant way to welcome competitors to every event."
Headquartered in Grand Blanc, Michigan, ACDelco markets automotive replacement parts and accessories worldwide under the GM and ACDelco brand names. In addition to the Fast Fuel Program, ACDelco is the primary sponsor of two IHRA national events, the ACDelco Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park in Richmond, Va., and the ACDelco Canadian Nationals at Toronto Motorsports Park in Toronto, Canada. ACDelco's presence is also visible on the track through their sponsorship of Pro Modified standout Harold Martin.
