STARK AND SNYDER LEAD TOP ALCOHOL FIELDS AT NATIONAL TRAIL RACEWAY
        HEBRON, Ohio - In the first rounds of qualifying at National Trail
Raceway, Top Alcohol Dragster driver Keith Stark and Top Alcohol Funny Car
pilot Mick Snyder took the No. 1 qualifying positions in their classes. 
        Stark, of Danville, Ill., outran the field with a pass of 5.386
seconds at 269.56 mph.  And Demotte, Ind., resident Snyder made a
5.777-second, 244.74 mph run to take the pole.
In Comp Eliminator, Mike Trumble of Pasadena, Texas, was No. 1, while Top
Sportsman racer Rick Corn of Benton, Ill., was today's best qualifier in
his class.  Results for the Super Stock and Stock Eliminator classes were
not complete.
        The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series continues Saturday at 10 a.m.
 Gates open at 8 a.m.  Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car will
make two qualifying passes, at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.  Tickets are $15 each
Saturday and Sunday. Children 6 to 12 are $5 each day and kids 5 and under
are admitted free with a paid adult.  For more information, call National
