Boundless Motor Sports Racing, Inc. Enters Into Agreement To Purchase DIRT Motorsports, Inc.
RICHARDSON, Texas--Aug. 1, 20033, 2003--Boundless Motor Sports Racing, Inc. ("Boundless") (OTCBB:BMSR) and DIRT Motorsports, Inc. (DIRT), announced today that Boundless has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets and stock of DIRT. DIRT Motorsports Inc. is the country's largest dirt racing sanctioning body for Big-Block Modified, 358-Modified and Sportsman classes. DIRT holds more than 100 series sanctioned races and 700 club races at nearly 40 dirt tracks situated throughout the Northeastern United States and Canada. Glenn Donnelly, founder of DIRT Motorsports, and his staff will remain with the company as it continues to expand the DIRT racing empire started by Donnelly 32 years ago."We've grown DIRT Motorsports into the top regional sanctioning body of short-track racing on dirt in the U.S.," said founder Glenn Donnelly. In 2002 DIRT Motorsports set many new standards as it raced through its 32nd successive year of short-track activity holding 783 sanctioned races for Big-Block Modified, 358-Modified and Sportsman classes. The open-wheel DIRT racing main events were staged at 27 full-member speedways. An additional 17 full-fender championship races brought the final event count to exactly 800, the second-highest season total in DIRT history. DIRT Motorsports, Inc. is in the midst of kicking off its 33rd season of oval track competition. The sanctioning body's prized jewel, the Eckerd 200 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, will be celebrating its 32nd anniversary in October.
DIRT is also the only DIRT race sanctioning body to boast an in-house television production department that produces, syndicates and distributes over 40 hours of live and taped racing events programming annually. DIRT's production studio conducts live broadcasts as well as tape delayed productions of the DIRT Racing Series, presently seen on Speed Vision, Time Warner Cable, and the Empire TV Network. DIRT Races are also enjoyed through on Cyber Series coverage with live audio on the world wide web during every Modified Super DIRT Series. DIRT also produces commercials for Sponsors and full-member speedways where the DIRT Series Races are held.
The popular Rush Hour on Dirt and This Week on DIRT television shows produced by DIRT, reach an estimated 70 million homes internationally. As Boundless expands DIRT into a national racing series the company plans to nationally syndicate both Rush Hour on Dirt and This Week on DIRT.
