Racing At NHRA O’Reilly Jr. Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Finals Under Way
READING, Pa.- Nearly 500 Jr. racers, representing NHRA's Northeast, Southeast, North Central and South Central divisions took to the track today for the first day of time trials at the NHRA O'Reilly Auto Parts Jr. Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Finals. 
	A total of 49 NHRA member tracks are expected to complete for team honors, with defending team champions, Indianapolis Raceway Park, hoping to defend their team title. 
At the completion of today's time trials the young jr. drag racing competitors and their families were invited to food, fun and sun at annual pool party and picnic at Maple Grove Park Million Gallon Swimming Pool. 
	Tomorrow, racers will once again suit up for a round of time trials with the first round of eliminations in each of the eight age categories set to follow in the afternoon. Gates will open tomorrow at 8 a.m. Time trials for all categories will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eliminations are set to begin immediately following time trials at 2 p.m..
