This year's Pork The Other White Meat 200 will be the 16th ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Berlin since the series first raced there in 1958. Frank Kimmel and Tim Steele are the only past champions entered. This year's Pork The Other White Meat 200 has its share of local flavor in the line-up including defending race winner and 10-time Berlin late model track champion Fred Campbell driving for Berlin Raceway veteran Vern Slagh who is also entered. In addition, Berlin late model competitors Billy Shotko, Andy Ponstein and Chris Anthony will take their best shot at the RE/MAX Series regulars. Slagh, at 63, is the oldest driver entered while 17-year-old Shelby Howard is the youngest. Howard became the youngest ARCA RE/MAX Series winner in its 51-year history with a victory back in April at Salem Speedway. Howard, at 16, finished 6th at Berlin in September of 2001. There are 2 sons of former ARCA RE/MAX Series champions in the field including Todd Bowsher whose father Jack won ARCA titles in 63, 64 & 65 and Billy Venturini whose father Bill won ARCA crowns in 87 & 91.
