BLOUNT SMASHES CHICAGOLAND TRACK RECORD

JOLIET IL (9-5-02)  ARCA RE/MAX Series rookie Chad Blount won the Old
Milwaukee Pole Award here Thursday at Chicagoland Speedway with a new
1-lap track record. Blount, in the APP Gas Dodge, blistered the 1.5-mile
superspeedway with a speed of 174.633 mph earning his 5th Old Milwaukee
Pole of the year.
