The NHRA Winston Drag Racing Series will invade historic Sears Point Raceway this weekend. Jeg Coughlin currently is sitting in the No. 3 position in the points. He has 862 points and is trailing Jim Yates and WJ. The 31-year old driver knows that it is time to make a charge toward the top.

"We missed a good opportunity to gain some ground in the points last week in Seattle. Four of the top five drivers went out in the opening round and the door was left wide open. We are really excited to do well at Sears Point. The track filled with racing heritage and it would be a fun one to win," said Jeg.

Troy Coughlin is focused on rebounding from a sub-par weekend. Each round is becoming more important and Troy has his sights set on breaking back into the top ten in his Jeg's Mail Order Chevrolet Cavalier.

"We had some bad luck last weekend and we are all glad that is behind us. The next two races are important for us to make a late season charge. Our entire team is focused on getting our consistency back and getting back into the winner's circle," commented Troy.
