“This is really tough. We got bit big time by the way qualifying is split but that’s the way it goes. It’s a shame, I don’t know how we would have done had it stayed dry but I certainly don’t think we’d have ended up 21st. We’ll need some good luck tom orrow. I think we’ll have a decent race car and this track is nice and wide in a lot of places so passing isn’t a problem. It will definitely be challenging tomorrow.”
Position: 21st

“It was certainly another frustrating qualifying session. I think we’ve struggled a bit trying to get Michael the right starting position in qualifying. Today it was the weather conditions that got us. The first session was dry and those guys made the m ost of it. The second session was really wet most of the time so no one got much of a chance to make progress up the field. Nonetheless, I think this is one of those tracks that you can move up the field during the race whether it’s wet or dry. It’s got some great passing spots and I know it’s one of Michael’s favorite tracks and I think we’ll be fine tomorrow. It’s going to be hard work. We’ve got one of the best pit crews out there so I think we’ll gain an advantage in the pits and we’re looking forw ard to the challenge.”
