The LS 430 is powered by a 4.3-liter double-overhead cam V8 engine that produces 278 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 312 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,400 rpm. Continuously Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) ensures excellent low- and mid-range power for easy highway merging.
Responsive handling makes the LS 430 engaging to drive, yet its ride quality remains a benchmark of smoothness. The front and rear double-wishbone suspension systems contribute to balance in cornering and provide an exceptionally smooth ride.
