The GS family combines available all-wheel drive in the GS 300 for the first time in a Lexus passenger car, with a powerful new 3.0-liter V6 engine, new dynamic and safety technology and a long list of comfort and luxury features in the right-sized package. A new 6-speed automatic transmission is used with both the new V6 and the proven 4.3 liter V8.
The GS 430 is powered by a 4.3 liter double overhead cam V8 engine that produces 300 horsepower at 5,600 RPM and 325 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,400 rpm.
Joining the GS 430's potent and refined V8 is an all-new 3.0-liter, 245-horsepower V6 engine replacing the inline six in the GS 300.
