.Weather Conditions: sunny
.Fastest Lap : 3:46.958 by no. 17 the Ferrari driven by Van de
Poele, now abandoned.

Car 22, the Nismo Nissan, who had been in sixteenth place, had to
abandon at 7:12 after going off in the Forest esses, while Kondo was
driving. The driver was not injured

The circuit is really beginning to wake up now, and more people can be
seen in the grandstands. The sun is shining, and it looks as if it is
going to be another hot day.

Porsche 25, driven at the moment by Boutsen, has taken the lead at
approx 8h35 as the previous leader makes a scheduled pit stop for a
brake disc change.

One random fact - Hans Joachim Stuck, in the 25 Porsche, actually
improved on his best lap time during the race over his best practice
time.

Car 14 has stopped on the Porsche curves, with Patrick Gonin at the
wheel, after spinning. The car was lying in 17th place.

Davy Jones, in the number 7 TWR, has been putting in some very fast
laps, trying to catch up with new leader 25.
