A bit later at 17:10 the driver in the lead car was changed from Davey 
Jones to Alex Wurz, in practice Alex was slower than Davey.

The second Joest car no 8 seemed to have had a spin and lost a couple 
of places but continued.

The first Kremer car no 1 could not maintain its inital pace after 
Toivenen handed over to Laessig and it dropped to 7th from 3rd.

JJ Lehto handed over to Andy Wallace and continued unabated, JJ 
reported no major problems "They can keep this pace throughout".

Car 51 the Chrysler Viper had a spin about lap 24, went through a 
gravel trapp narrowly missing car 38 one of the Team Bigazzi Mclarens 
driven by Steve Soper at the time, 51 is now 32nd and 38 8th.

After two hours, there have been no retirements which must be some 
record.
