Lexus SUVs at the 2004 LA Auto Show

Lexus GX 470
Introduced in 2003, the GX 470 is Lexus’ mid-size SUV with seating for eight people. A 4.7-liter V-8 delivers 235 horsepower through a 5-speed automatic transmission to a full-time four-wheel drive system. New features for 2004 include a Tire Pressure Monitor, roll-sensing side curtain air bag system and rear backup camera that comes with the optional navigation system, as well as rear seat audio and DVD entertainment systems.

Lexus LX 470
The Lexus LX 470 is a full-size luxury SUV powered by a 4.7-liter V-8 engine that produces 235 horsepower and is equipped with a full-time four-wheel drive. With seating for eight people, the LX 470 for 2004 features a new rear backup camera, upgraded navigation system and Bluetooth wireless capability. Hydropneumatic suspension with Adjustable Height Control provides a smooth on-road ride and helps the LX 470 negotiate off-road obstacles.
Lexus RX 330
The RX 330 is Lexus’ all-new, second-generation luxury SUV for 2004, available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models. A larger 3.3-liter V6 engine produces 230 horsepower and a hybrid version of the RX 330, utilizing a combination of gasoline and electric motors to deliver V-8 performance with the fuel economy of a 4-cylinder, will go on sale late in 2004.
