Auto Channel Review: Growing Up with the Automobile

This site seems to be home to a bit of the South Caroliner's writing project. If I had to categorize it, I'd say this is a piece of automotive fiction. The story is staged as an interview between an old-timer auto mechanic and the writer. It's set in 1939. I thought it was quite a good idea -- automotive fiction -- and would like to see more on the WWW. The presentation, however, is lacking as it simply scrolls by grey page after grey page. Luckily, the monotony of the design does not infect the narrative. That's my two cents worth (and I should add that this is my first encounter with fiction of this kind); give it a whirl yourself and see what you think.
