Mitsubishi Vehicles at the 2004 LA Auto Show

Mitsubishi Diamante
The Diamante is Mitsubishi’s ‘near luxury’ flagship sedan, and gets a major freshening for 2004 including new front-end styling, revised interior and the availability of a manual-shifting 4-speed automatic transmission. Power is provided by a 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 205 horsepower in ES and LS versions, and 210 horsepower in the VR-X model.

Mitsubishi Galant
Designed at Mitsubishi’s U.S. styling studio and built in Normal, Illinois, the 4-door, 5-passenger Galant sedan is bigger and more powerful for 2004. A choice of two engines is offered, including a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder that produces 160 horsepower, and an optional 3.8-liter, 230 horsepower V-6.
Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback
Mitsubishi’s Lancer lineup already includes the ES, LS, OZ and the rally-inspired, 271 horsepower, all-wheel drive Evolution. For 2004, the new 5-door Sportback sportwagon joins the team, and is available in standard LS and optional, high-performance Ralliart trim. Both are powered by a 2.4-liter, 162 horsepower 4-cylinder engine.
