Mercury SUVs at the 2004 LA Auto Show

Mercury Monterey
The all-new 2004 Monterey is Mercury’s long-wheelbase luxury minivan and is the first of four new vehicles to be introduced over the next three years. Monterey is powered by a 4.2-liter V-6 that produces 201 horsepower and a 26-gallon fuel tank gives a cruising range of more than 500 miles. Optional features include front and rear parking sensors and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system.

Mercury Mountaineer
Built in St. Louis, Missouri and Louisville, Kentucky, Mercury’s mid-sized Mountaineer SUV is offered with a choice of two engines; a flex-fuel 4.0-liter, 210 horsepower V-6 or a 4.6-liter, 239 horsepower V-8. ControlTrack 4-wheel drive is available, and properly-equipped, a Mountaineer can tow up to 6,980 pounds.
