Honda Vehicles at the 2004 LA Auto Show

Honda Accord
The 2004 Honda Accord offers a choice of coupe or sedan body styles, 160-horsepower 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine or 240-horsepower 3.0-liter VTEC V-6 engine, as well as 5-speed manual or automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual on the high-performance EX V6 coupe. Standard on some models and optional on others are such advances as XM Satellite Radio, side curtain airbags and voice-activated navigation system.

Honda Civic Hybrid
The Honda Civic Hybrid, the first mainstream vehicle sold in North America equipped with an Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid system, employing a 1.3-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine coupled with an integrated high-output electric motor/generator to enhance both performance and fuel efficiency. The Civic Hybrid with continuously variable transmission (CVT) earns an EPA city/highway rating of 48/47 mpg, while models equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission are EPA rated at 46/51 mpg.
Honda S2000
Honda’s S2000 2-seater sports car receives a comprehensive list of improvements for 2004, including a larger displacement 2.2-liter VTEC 4-cylinder engine that produces 240 horsepower and a more urban driving-friendly 162 lb.-ft. of torque @ 6500 rpm. With its 6-speed manual transmission, the S2000 is still capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in under six seconds.
