GMC Vehicles at the 2004 LA Auto Show

GMC Canyon
GMC’s new Canyon mid-sized pickup will be built in Shreveport, Louisiana beginning in late 2004. A variety of configurations will be offered, including Crew Cab, Extended Cab, Regular Cab, 2-wheel drive Crew Cab, High-Stance off-road and a choice of 2- or 4-wheel drive. Engine choices include a standard 2.8-liter, 175 horsepower 4-cylinder and an optional 3.5-liter, 220 horsepower 5-cylinder.

GMC Envoy
GMC’s Envoy and Envoy XL SUVs are joined in 2004 by the all-new Envoy XUV, which combines a power-sliding rear roof and MidGate to create an SUV that easily converts into a pickup truck. Standard power is a 4.2-liter, 275 horsepower 6-cylinder, with a 5.2-liter, 290 horsepower V-8 available as an option.
GMC Yukon Denali
The Yukon Denali is GMC’s full-sized, 7- or 8-passenger luxury SUV, and is built in Janesville, Wisconsin. With 3-row seating and available in standard and XL versions, the Denali is powered by a 6.0-liter V-8 delivering 325 horsepower to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
