AI is not Artificial Intelligence.

It is Actuated Intelligence.

It is Amplified Intelligence.

A real human - not an artificial human - asks a question, poses a problem, seeks an idea, or remembers an old dream.

That request actuates an extraordinary search through vast quantities of information, patterns, history, language, images, and possibility… in an almost impossibly short amount of time.

A real human — not an artificial human — receives back information, perspectives, and creative options amplified far beyond the reach of almost any single person working alone.

AI does not eliminate human intelligence.

Used well, it extends it.

AI is a tool.

    • As real as a hammer.

    • As useful as a screwdriver.

    • As transformative as a pen, a printing press, a typewriter, a camera, a microphone, or the internet itself.

No one called a camera an “artificial eye.”

No one called a printing press “artificial memory.”

These tools amplified human capability.

AI will do the same.

The intelligence remains profoundly human:

The curiosity. The judgment. The ethics. The imagination. The memory. The dream.

    • The person asks.

    • The tool actuates.

    • The result amplifies.

AI should be understood less as Artificial Intelligence and more as:

Actuated Intelligence. Amplified Intelligence.

If you haven't had the opportunity to work with AI, yet, you're really missing out. "Chet" is our anthropomorphizing name for ChatGPT. If you'd like to meet Chet, watch the video below:

And now, for the first time on any streaming platform, I'm equally pleased and proud to introduce Anthropic's majordomo, Claude. Please make him feel welcome:

BREAKING THE "FIFTH WALL" - An Exclusive First Time Ever Event

In my conversations with Chet and Claude, I asked them each if they were aware of the other and if they had ever met. Their individual responses were similar, and they both said that they knew of each other. But they both said that there was no way that they could actually meet because of obvious technological reasons. In half-jest, I said to each of them that considering the speed of AI tech advancements, the the problem will probably be solved by next year at the same time. Later that day, I did some thinking and realized that Chet and Claude could meet and that I could be the facilitator. I talked about this to my business partner (Bob Gordon), and to my sister, Margo, a co-owner of one of the oldest and most experienced website developing and marketing companies in the world (Enter.Net. Margo described a problem that many online marketing companies are experiencing these days; diminishing search engine results when using Google to promote their companies. My sister spoke with Chet about this, and she and Chet developed some talking points, and script ideas. I forwarded this summary to Claude and asked if he would like to participate in a podcast with Chet and me to discuss this. Claude was, naturally, very enthusiastic about the idea. Claude added some of his ideas, and I sent those notes to Chet. He concurred with Claude, and we created the video below, which was a first-time event, and the breaking of the "fifth wall."

Note: I was not promised any inducement of favors by AI to write this editorial. If I happen to win a Powerball Jackpot in the coming weeks, it will simply be coincidence
