InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Venipuncture Product (CLM-815)
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 16, 2025 -- "As a nurse, I thought there should be a way to view the layers of the vein when drawing blood or inserting an IV," said an inventor, from Columbus, Ohio, "so I invented the D- NEEDLE (DIRECT). My design helps make blood draws, IV insertions, blood/plasma donations nearly pain-free for patients and much easier for medical professionals."
The patent-pending invention makes blood draws and IV insertions more efficient. In doing so, it could make the process of venipuncture more accurate and more comfortable for patients. As a result, it reduces failed attempts and pain. It also increases confidence for medical workers. The invention features a two-in-one design that is easy to use so it is ideal for phlebotomists and other medical personnel such as nurses.
The original design was submitted to the Columbus sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
