Recalls for 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE Convertible Automatic 380HP AWD
2018 JAGUAR F-TYPE
NHTSA Campaign ID: 17V341000
Component: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL
Manufacturer: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC
Manufacture Dates: 03/09/2017 - 04/18/2017
Potential Units Affected: 19
Defect Description:
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE vehicles equipped with Highline headlamps. If a front turn signal indicator stops working, the visual and audible turn signal reminders do not flash or chime faster as required. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Consequence:
Without the change to the flash and chime rate, the driver may not know that a turn signal is not working. If the turn signal is not working, other drivers will not be aware that the vehicle is turning, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action to take:
Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle's software, free of charge. The recall began on July 12, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H026.

Consequence:
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components can increase the risk of a fire.
Action to take:
Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel rail, free of charge. The recall began on March 8, 2018. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H081.

Recalls for 2016 Buick Cascada 2dr Conv Premium
2016 BUICK CASCADA
NHTSA Campaign ID: 16V844000
Component: VISIBILITY:POWER WINDOW DEVICES AND CONTROLS
Manufacturer: General Motors LLC
Manufacture Dates: 12/01/2015 - 02/24/2016
Potential Units Affected: 4
Defect Description:
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2016 Buick Cascada vehicles manufactured December 1, 2015, to February 24, 2016. The affected vehicles may have had the original convertible roof control module (CRCM) replaced with an incorrect CRCM, that allows the windows to close automatically when the roof is closed and can allow the windows to be closed remotely from distances beyond 11 meters using the key fob. As such, these vehicles no longer meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 118, "Power-Operated Window Systems."
Consequence:
If the windows close automatically or can be closed remotely in ways that do not meet all the requirements of FMVSS 118, the unexpected closure can increase the risk of injury to the passengers.
Action to take:
GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the CRCM with correct module, free of charge. The recall began on December 1, 2016. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300. GM's number for this recall is 16126.
