GS Point Leader Bodymotion Racing
Relishes the Challenges Inherent in Lime Rock Park

LAKEVILLE, Conn., July 20 - Bodymotion Racing is looking forward to the challenges
inherent in Lime Rock Park. The Ocean Township, N.J.-based team will field a Porsche
in each class of the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge series in the Lime
Rock Park 120 this Saturday morning.
Co-point leaders Trent Hindman of Wayside, N.J. and Cameron Cassels of Coldstream,
British Columbia, Canada drive the team's Grand Sport (GS) entry, the No. 12 Porsche
Cayman GT4 sponsored by Bodymotion, Delaware Investments and Trim Tex.
Devin Jones of Mooresville, N.C. and Drake Kemper of Thermal, Calif. share its Street
Tuner (ST) entry, the No. 31 Porsche Cayman sponsored by Bodymotion, VeriStor, the
Apex Sports Car Academy and Delaware Investments.
They're all looking forward to tacking the shortest track on the series' schedule,
as the series will utilize the track's 1.53-mile, seven-turn, "classic" format without
the chicane. Although it's the shortest track in distance it's one of the fastest,
as lap times are less than a minute. Momentum is important and that's one of the
strong suits of Porsche, so hopes are high for two good finishes.
A total of 13 GS and 18 ST cars are on the entry list for Saturday's two-hour race.
Practice will be held at 10:05 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. on Friday, with qualifying following
at 3:40 p.m. (ST) and 3:55 p.m. (GS) that day. Fans can walk the grid at 9:15 a.m.
Saturday morning before the green flag drops on the race at 10:25 a.m.
Live video streaming and live timing and scoring will be available on imsa.com and
imsa.tv. The television broadcast will be on FOX Sports 1 on Sunday, July 30 from
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All times are Eastern.
Pre-race quotes follow:
Trent Hindman, co-driver, No. 12 Bodymotion Racing Porsche Cayman GT4:
Last year the race didn't have even one full-course caution. What do you think the
odds are that will be the case again this year?
"Lime Rock is commonly considered the bullring of the IMSA schedule due to its compact
layout yet high average speeds. With 30-plus cars on track at the very same time,
it would lead one to believe that this track is more conducive to producing multiple
full-course cautions, more so than other tracks we attend throughout the year. Interestingly
enough, that tends not to be the case in the CTSCC, as both 2013 and 2016 went 100-percent
caution free. As always, we are never counting on a full-course caution for our
strategy. They help, yes, but it's very unpredictable, especially around Lime Rock."
When you're going into Turn 1 three wide at Lime Rock, where would you prefer to
be? Inside, outside, or in the middle?
"Inside, always. Three-wide situations going into Big Bend tend to have a high risk
of contact, so it's best to avoid being in that position if you can manage it."
Where does Lime Rock stack up on your list of favorite tracks?
"It's for sure one of my favorite tracks on the calendar. Almost a second "home
race" for me and the Bodymotion Racing team, so that is very cool. Although it's
only 1.5 miles and a sub-1-minute lap, it is a place that still produces great
racing at quite high speeds. It also allows you to settle into a nice rhythm and
rifle off some consistent, fast laps, and I love that."
In what ways is Lime Rock unlike any other track that you race on?
"It's got an average lap speed of close to 100 miles per hour for GS, which is among
the highest we see throughout the year. That's quite impressive for such a small
 circuit."
This is your "second" home track. Will you have a lot of friends and fans here?
"Hopefully! We had a lot of close friends and supporters of Bodymotion Racing come
up to the Glen, so we hope to see the very same crowd this weekend as well."
Last year most of the top five cars in GS were Porsche Caymans GT4s. What makes
that car so good here?
"Lime Rock is 100 percent a momentum track, similar to CTMP although just on a smaller
scale. Very few hard acceleration areas along with no long straights, which is good
news for us in the Cayman GT4s, as that is where we are losing the most time."

Cameron Cassels, co-driver, No. 12 Bodymotion Racing Porsche Cayman GT4:
Last year the race didn't have even one full-course caution. What do you think the
odds are that will be the case again this year?
"There were a couple of on-track incidents there last season that normally would
have brought out a caution. Passing can be quite challenging at Lime Rock. Hopefully
for all our competitors we do not see any on-track incidents that require a full-course
caution. Saying that, however, the GS field has increased and the ST field has remained
relatively the same this year. With a larger overall field at Lime Rock, I think
it is very likely that we will not see a repeat of a caution-free race."
What is your favorite turn at Lime Rock, and why?
"Although Lime Rock is the smallest track we visit, the entire track just has a
real rhythm to it. Turn 7, the downhill, is a great corner. It has elevation change,
high speed and sets you up for one of the most important areas of the track, Turn
1."
How important is qualifying going to be at Lime Rock? What are some of the things
teams do to cars for qualifying that is different than the race setup?
"Track position is important everywhere we visit. Considering the relative difficulty
in passing other cars here and the fact that the race is a half-hour shorter than
last year, qualifying is more important than usual."
In what ways is Lime Rock unlike any other track that you race on?
"I think our engineer, Marc Manning, said it best, 'You get to see each corner again
in less than a minute.' Although the track is the shortest track we visit, the average
speed is ranked somewhere in the top three for the tracks in our series. It also
boasts one of the most fan-friendly tracks for great vantage points to watch the
race."
Last year most of the top five cars in GS were Porsche Caymans GT4s. What makes
that car so good here?
"The landscape of car manufacturers has changed significantly since last season.
Apart from the Porsche Cayman GT4s from last year, the cars are all new for this
year. We now have the new Camaro GT4-R, Mustang GT4, McLaren 570, Porsche GT4 MR
and the new Aston Martin. The Porsche is a great momentum car though for a track
such as Lime Rock."
Devin Jones, co-driver, No. 31 Bodymotion Racing Porsche Cayman:
When you're going into Turn 1 three wide at Lime Rock, where would you prefer to
be? Inside, outside, or in the middle?
"Turn 1 at Lime Rock is very unique. You can honestly make a pass stick anywhere
going into this corner. The inside can get bottled up in heavy traffic, making
the outside a place to gain position on other cars. The inside has the most grip
and a little camber to hold the car. However, if you get pitched down the inside
you don't have the preferred line into the left-hander. This is what makes Lime
Rock so fun."
What is the most difficult turn at Lime Rock, and why?
"With lap times under a minute the field is so close, you can't give up time in
any corner. There are certain places where you have to know where to be fast and
where to be patient. It's easy to lose time in certain areas of the track if you
don't see the big picture of how to connect the track for a fast lap. It's one of
the most unique tracks we go to."
Lime Rock is only about 100 miles from New York City. Have you ever spent time in
New York sightseeing or doing something else that you can only do in New York? If
so, what did you like best?
"Awhile ago I took a train to New York from the Lime Rock area. I know a lot of
people from the New York area and even Boston that come to Lime Rock for this event.
We get to travel to some great places on the IMSA schedule."
How important is qualifying going to be at Lime Rock? What are some of the things
teams do to cars for qualifying that is different than the race setup?
"Qualifying is important at every track we go to but at Lime Rock passing is not
easy, which makes where we start even more critical. For qualifying the main adjustment
we do is with air pressure. We want the car to come in quickly in order to get the
most out of a set of fresh Continental tires. For the race we will start with lower
air pressures so as heat gets built in the tires we will be better for the long
runs at a slick track like Lime Rock."
In what ways is Lime Rock unlike any other track that you race on?
"I personally love this track because it's similar to my past background of short-track
oval racing, only it's mostly right-hand corners, not lefts. Lime Rock races like
a short track. It's low-grip, tight racing. It's the shortest track we go to on
the schedule but probably one of the most exciting."

Drake Kemper, co-driver,
No. 31 Bodymotion Racing Porsche Cayman

Drake Kemper, co-driver, No. 31 Bodymotion Racing Porsche Cayman:
What is your favorite turn at Lime Rock, and why?
"I know that the uphill and the downhill are incredibly notable turns, but honestly
I love Turn 1. There is a fine line in between just right and too fast."
What is the most difficult turn at Lime Rock, and why?
"I think the downhill is probably the toughest corner; 1 mile per hour difference
will result in you getting passed; one mistake and your race could be done."
Lime Rock is only about 100 miles from New York City. Have you ever spent time in
New York sightseeing or doing something else that you can only do in New York? If
so, what did you like best?
"I actually performed with Jim Gaffigan once at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City.
It was an incredible experience."
Where does Lime Rock stack up on your list of favorite tracks?
"It's a fun track for sure. I've only driven here once and it was only about an
hour. I'll let you know more after racing it!"
In what ways is Lime Rock unlike any other track that you race on?
"It's basically a high-speed oval with elevation changes and one left-hand corner.
It's best described as your car being the ball in a roulette wheel. It's a super-intense
momentum track."
