Canadian Racing Legend Ron Fellows Back Behind the Wheel
of the Corvette for Pit Stop Demos

TORONTO, July 3, 2017 /CNW/ - Canada's biggest sports car race rolls into Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), July 6-9, for the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix. Before the exotic prototypes and GT race cars hit the legendary track located just north of Bowmanville, race fans and media will get a preview of the race weekend excitement at RaceFest.

For the first time, RaceFest will be held in CTMP's hometown of Clarington, Ontario, which includes Bowmanville. This is a dynamic event that features great visuals, sounds and racing personalities.

RaceFest Highlights Include:

  • Live Pit Stop demonstrations by the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship factory Corvette Racing GTLM team, with Canadian Hall of Famer and CTMP co-owner Ron Fellows back behind the wheel for this special event.

  • IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race cars and other performance vehicles.

  • Race driver appearances and autograph sessions, featuring some of the best sports car drivers in the sport.

  • Race weekend ticket give-aways, displays and other prizes
