Riding his BMW at 173.3 mph, Ernst Henne set the motorcycle world speed record that would endure for 14 years in 1939. Georg "Schorsch" Meier's BMW (shown here) propelled him to victory in the legendary Isle of Man Senior Tourist Trophy Race.
