  • Description: This event is limited to the FIRST 400 pre1975 vehicles. Pre-entry is advised. Trophies awarded in over 30 classes. This event is held in the historical downtown business district. The flag lined streets, live bands, 60+ chili cooks, crafts and food vendors, the steam train rides, and the free fireworks display at dusk make this an "old fashioned" Fourth of July. This event is one of the premier events in Southern California.

  • Description: Rodger Ward's Classic Auto Society is the proud organizer of the Earls Performance Products presents: Pony Express 100. This is an open road race open to ALL vehicles and ALL drivers regardless of racing history. The race is held on Nevada State Highway 305 from Battle Mountain Nevada and runs 85 miles south to Austin Nevada. We shut down this public highway from 6:00am to 4:00pm and let participants go down in designated speed classes.

    Speeds range from 95mph on up to 200+mph! Most vehicles are everyday, streetcars. The Touring Division (95mph to 115mph) only requires the vehicle to have factory seatbelts (in good condition) and a mounted fire extinguisher.

    The faster you want to go, the more safety equipment required on the vehicle. The Grand Touring division(116mph to 130mph) for example, requires 5 or 6 point safety harnesses and a mounted fire extinguisher.

    The event has been featured on ESPN, ESPN2 and Prime Sports. The June 1996 event will be filmed for National broadcast.
