NASCAR announces rules change for Fords

DAYTONA BEACH, FL-NASCAR officials announced a rules change today for all
Ford Thunderbirds running in the Winston Cup Series.
 
Effective immediately, the height of the rear deck spoiler will be reduced
one-quarter inch from 5.75 inches to 5.50 inches. Front air dam clearance will
remain at 4 inches.
 
The NASCAR Winston Cup Series travels to the new Texas Motor Speedway in Fort
Worth, TX this week for the inaugural Interstate Batteries 500 scheduled for
Sunday, April 6.
