Celebrating its 7th year, the show treats area motorcycle enthusiasts of all ages to a virtual toy store of the industry's latest vehicles and accessories. Sportbikes, cruisers, scooters, dualsport machines, off-road bikes, motocross and even 4-wheel ATVs will be represented in factory showcase displays from top manufacturers such as Aprilia, BMW, Buell, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha. Representatives from local dealerships will also be on hand to answer questions and help enthusiasts determine the perfect ride for their size and experience level.
Complementing the new hardware will be a large aftermarket manufacturer contingent offering everything from performance parts to leather goods to memorabilia. Show-goers can also see some of the latest product offerings at "The Factory," a series of showcase displays featuring parts and accessories from companies such as Abus Motorcycle Locks USA, Arai Helmets, Autocom Specialist Communications, Bridgestone/Firestone Tires, ChatterBox, Dowco Inc., Dunlop Tires, Dynojet Research, Gi.Vi. USA, HJC Helmets, K&N Engineering, Kendon Industries, Metzeler Motorcycle Tire, Prexport, Progressive Suspension, Samson Motorcycle Products, Shoei Helmets, Spyke Inc., Thunder Manufacturing, Travelcade/Saddlemen and Yuasa Batteries. The show is not limited to spectators -- enthusiasts can shop and purchase much of what they see on display.
Thrilling audiences since 1935, The Victor McLaglen Motor Corps will perform their incredible hair-raising stunts for enthusiastic crowds. Imagine a pyramid of riders atop a row of moving motorcycles and you'll have an idea of the amazing things this group can do! There will be two performances Friday, four on Saturday and three on Sunday. Each show is 15-20 minutes and is held every 2-3 hours.
As an added bonus, one show attendee may be rewarded with a new motorcycle as a result of his or her trip to the show. Sponsored by American Suzuki, the Official Motorcycle Giveaway provides entrants with the chance to win a 2001 Suzuki Intruder(R) Volusia(TM). In addition, regular Product Giveaways will see a variety of merchandise awarded to attendees throughout the day. Made possible by many of the participating exhibitors, this show highlight is always a crowd favorite!
Getting back to the grass roots of motorcycling, the Cycle World Custom Collection showcases a number of classic, custom and vintage motorcycles from local riders and clubs. Presented by Cycle World Magazine, the feature gives local collectors the chance to show off their bikes to their peers and offers enthusiasts a glimpse of the limitless restoration and customizing possibilities available to them.
Once considered a man's domain, motorcycling has experienced a growing segment of female riders. In recognition of the past, present and future women motorcycle enthusiasts, the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation presents the "Women & Motorcycling" display.
