LONG BEACH, Calif., Jan. 31 Extreme sports retailers will catch a glimpse of a new 'turbo-charged' electric scooter as well as five other new electric vehicles from electric transportation pioneer ZAPWORLD.COM at the 2001 Action Sports Retailer (ASR) Expo, February 3-5 at the Long Beach Convention Center. The new ZAPPY-XT from ZAPWORLD.COM (ZAP) is an improved version of its ZAPPY folding electric scooter. Introduced in 1997, ZAPPY helped pioneer the U.S. market for stand-on electric scooters.
