Chrysler Group Drives Home With Truck-Load of Awards From North American International Auto Show

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Chrysler Group drove home from this year's North 
American International Auto Show with seven awards for its strong lineup of cars, 
trucks, sport-utility vehicles and minivans.

    "Between Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge, we have one of the greatest product
and brand portfolios in the industry," said Dieter Zetsche, President and
Chief Executive Officer, DaimlerChrysler Corp.  "All of us at the Chrysler
Group take great pride and celebrate when prestigious third-party
organizations pay us the ultimate compliment by bestowing their top awards on
our products."

    Chrysler PT Cruiser earned four awards: North American Car of the Year,
African Americans On Wheels Car of the Year, and two awards from American
Woman Road & Travel, Car of the Year: "Most Likely to Succeed" and Classic:
"Most Likely to be Remembered."

    The all-new 2001 Chrysler Town & Country earned Best Minivan: "Most
Versatile" from American Woman Road & Travel and "Most Significant Multi-
Passenger Vehicle at the North American International Auto Show 2001" from
Eyes on Design.  Jeep(R) Grand Cherokee drove home with a prestigious Polk
Automotive Loyalty Award.
