Southeast Toyota Dealer Association Awards $10,000 in buyatoyota Sweepstakes
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--Jan. 3, 2001--Southeast Toyota Dealer Association announced on Christmas Eve that Carl Oppermann of Rock Hill, S.C., is the winner of the $10,000 buyatoyota.com sweepstakes, according to Elton Pride, Southeast Toyota's Internet Manager.The $10,000 giveaway offer was available to anyone in the five-state region of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina that logged on to buyatoyota.com Web site from October 6, 2000 through December 15, 2000.
The sweepstakes was held to increase awareness of the buyatoyota.com Web site and the ability to buy a vehicle online by searching actual inventory for what is available. Visitors to the site were also asked to answer several survey questions in order to qualify for the prize - 11,394 people entered the sweepstakes. Oppermann entered the contest at the Greensboro Auto Show.
