Rapidigm Launches Griot's Garage's Web Site for the Holiday Rush

    PITTSBURGH, Dec. 18 Rapidigm, Inc., http://www.rapidigm.com, a
leading provider of e-Business, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and
Information technology (IT) consulting services, today announced the launch of
Griot's Garage, http://www.griotsgarage.com, a web site that sells car care products
online for the car care perfectionist.
"The holidays are here and so is our new Griot's Garage online," says Dell
Plagens, System Administrator, of Griot's Garage. "The timing could not be
better. With every product the car enthusiasts could want, we expect sales
from the site to skyrocket."
After defining the project objectives with Rapidigm's Bellevue, Washington
office, it was agreed that the work should be completed at the company's
e-Business Solutions Center in Portland. "It was our goal to produce a
shopping-friendly web site for Griot's Garage," says Manish Mehta, Director of
Operations for the Portland Center. "I believe the Griot's Garage's web site
demonstrates Rapidigm's ability and passion to understand our client's
customers and build a site that speaks to them."
Rapidigm created a user-friendly experience with a convenient shopping
cart and checkout functionality. Griot's Garage can now update the web site
to make sure the products and pricing parallel the information provided in the
printed handbooks. By tracking customers' purchases, Griot's Garage can
easily sort and organize products on the site to increase visibility and
promote sales.
