CCC Information Services and Farmers Insurance Exchange Sign Exclusive Agreement; Three-Year Exclusive Agreement To Include Pathways Appraisal Solution and TL2000

    CHICAGO--Dec. 11, 2000--CCC Information Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CCC Information Services Group , announced today that Farmers Insurance Exchange has signed a three-year exclusive agreement for CCC's claims solutions. Farmers Insurance Exchange is a member of the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies, the nation's third-largest home and auto insurer based in Los Angeles.
    The agreement between CCC Information Services Inc. and Farmers Insurance Exchange includes Pathways(R) Appraisal Solution, CCC's automated appraisal tool, which provides state-of-the-art electronic communications and interactive decision support; and TL2000, CCC's Total Loss tool which combines the accessibility and speed of the Internet with powerful data.
