WorldPac Becomes First Supply Partner to Join MyRepairShop's National Network for Independent Auto Repair Specialists

HOUSTON - MyRepairShop Inc., the first national network for independent repair shop specialists, announced today that WorldPac, the nation's leading importer/distributor of foreign auto parts, has agreed to become one of MyRepairShop's first supply partners.

"Repair shop specialists typically spend hours trying to find prices and inventory supply on the parts they need to service their customers' vehicles," said Tom O'Hare, president of WorldPac. "By joining MyRepairShop, network member repair specialists will have direct access to DIAL, our electronic catalog and software package, which will help them operate more efficiently. We're excited about the opportunities within MyRepairShop that we can extend to our customers and other repair specialists."

DIAL (Direct Information Access Link) provides direct "real-time" access to WorldPac's inventory of more than 50,000 parts and superior shipping logistics. Repair professionals can check parts availability, method of shipping, local routing times, manufacturers' list prices and color images of parts inventory.

"MyRepairShop serves as the premier advocate for the independent auto repair shop owner," said Brad Hays, chief executive officer of MyRepairShop. "We're offering them a way to increase bay productivity and increase the speed and accuracy of parts ordering and vehicle maintenance through real-time access to the automotive aftermarket supply chain and business management resources. WorldPac's information system will significantly benefit our members by giving them parts information at their fingertips."
