Kenworth Adds Heavier Front-Axle Weight Rating for T300 Medium-Duty
Conventional Model

KIRKLAND, Wash., Oct. 25, 2000 - Kenworth Truck Co. now offers customers the
option to upgrade the front axle and related components to a 13,200-pound
rating on its T300 medium-duty conventional model.

"This will allow a Class 7 T300 to handle somewhat heavier than standard
loads without sacrificing ride and steering ability," said Jim Strong,
Kenworth medium duty segment manager.

"Kenworth continuously strives to improve our products' appearance and
performance, while providing customers with an even better value," added
Strong. "These improvements are driven by feedback from our customers,
dealers, manufacturing plants and employees, plus new products introduced by
our suppliers."

See your Kenworth dealer for more details on the T300 and available options.
