Integrated Technology Group Assists in Recall

DALLAS--Sept. 13, 2000--Integrated Technology Group, Inc., (OTCBB:ITGI) announces its scrap tire division, SafeTire Disposal Corp., has entered into an Agreement with the Arlington Texas Firestone distribution center to assist them in proper disposal of the recalled tires they receive.
SafeTire began receiving tires from the distribution center August 28, 2000. Firestone's intent is to ensure that all recalled tires are properly destroyed and recycled in the best environmental manner possible. Firestone selected SafeTire due to their ability to handle the anticipated volume they expect to receive.
Firestone requires assurance that none of the recalled tires have any possible way to be sorted and resold in the used tire marketplace. SafeTire has a no-sort policy where all tires entering the facility are shredded. Another goal for Firestone is to direct these tires towards an environmentally beneficial end use and prevent landfilling of these tires when possible. SafeTire can provide the necessary end use markets to consume the volume of tires they receive and achieve the goals set by Firestone.
"We will assist Firestone any way we can so they will not have a disposal problem for these tires in this region of the country," stated Scott Holden, CEO of ITGI. "We anticipate receiving up to an average of 4000 tires per day from the distribution center. Our facilities are designed to process up to 2000 tires per hour so even if that anticipated volume increases, we will have no problem keeping with the flow of tires. We are also working with the majority of Ford dealerships in Texas and Oklahoma collecting the tires they are exchanging. Where we are most fortunate is that we have developed enough end use markets to consume the volume of tires we expect to receive."
