Infiniti Announces 2001 I30, G20 and Q45 Pricing; Pricing Remains Unchanged for All Infiniti Vehicles in the New Model Year

    CARSON, Calif., Aug. 31 Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc., today announced pricing for its 2001 I30 luxury
sedan, G20 sports sedan and Q45 luxury performance sedan.  All three models'
base pricing remains unchanged versus the 2000 model year.  This remains
constant across the entire Infiniti line for 2001.  The redesigned 2001 QX4,
which went on sale this past spring and offers 70 more horsepower than the
2000 model also had no price increase.
    The 2001 I30, which went on sale this month, has a Manufacturer's
Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $29,465.  In addition to the luxury model, a
touring model is offered with an even higher level of luxury and performance
and a starting price of $31,540.  Both models have numerous luxury features
and amenities, including a standard Bose audio system, available Xenon (HID)
headlights and an optional navigation system.
    The 2001 Q45, the last year of this generation platform, has a
Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $48,895.  The touring model,
which adds a number of luxury and performance enhancements, has a MSRP of
$50,595.
    Infiniti's second-generation G20 luxury sport sedan continues for 2001 in
luxury and touring models, both with a complete menu of amenities and features
worthy of the Infiniti premium brand.  The G20 luxury model has a base MSRP of
$21,395 and the touring model, which now includes the leather and convenience
package, begins at $24,095.
    "During the past year, the I30, Q45 and G20 were huge contributors to
Infiniti's overall sales success," said Tom Orbe, vice president and general
manager, Infiniti Division.  "Infiniti had a record year of sales in 1999 and
based off of our sales figures so far this year, we should see another one in
2000."
